- 菊芋是一种多年生、高产、抗寒、抗旱、耐一定盐碱, 并具有广泛适应性的新型物种。利用其高蛋白和富含多种氨基酸、维生素、矿物质的特性, 茎叶可制成青饲料饲喂家畜, 块茎也是牛、羊、猪的优质多汁饲料。菊芋的许多优良特性和多功能特点, 不但是发展草食畜禽的必要条件, 而且对水土保持、环境保护有重要作用。

- Jerusalem Art ichoke is a new-sty le perennial species , w hich has high yield , alkali-resi stance, the abi li ty against drought , cold and ex tensive adaptability .Ut ilizing the characterist ics ofhig h protein , rich amino acids , vitamins , minerals , it s stems and leaves can be made into succulencefor domestic animals , i t s tubers are hig h quality feed for cat tle , sheep and pig s .The excellentfeatures and multifunctional trait s of Jerusalem A rtichoke are no t only essential qualificationfo r the development of he rbivo res , but also important to w ater and soil conservatio n and envi ronmentalprotection .
