笼养环境下对产蛋鸡栖架材质的喜好选择及行为表现的研究

- 蛋鸡喜好在栖架上休息,在鸡笼中提供栖架可以改善蛋鸡的行为和生理状况。试验选择390只18周龄海兰褐商品蛋鸡,分为个体组、4只群体组和8只群体组依次放入同时装有3种材质(铁质、木质和塑质)栖架的测试笼中进行测试,于测试日当日8∶00~10∶00,14∶00~16∶00,19∶00~21∶00和23∶30~0∶30使用摄像机记录各测试笼中的蛋鸡行为和栖架利用情况,系统地研究在不同群体(饲养密度)条件下,蛋鸡对栖架材质的喜好,以及不同条件下蛋鸡一般行为和栖架行为的差异。结果表明:群体(密度)效应对蛋鸡的一般行为影响显著(P<0.01),但栖架行为差异不显著,不同时段蛋鸡一般行为表现差异较大(P<0.001)。在夜间喜好试验中,不论个体组、4只群体组,还是8只群体组,对木质栖架的选择均显著高于铁质和塑质栖架(P<0.05)。个体组中,白天蛋鸡在铁质栖架上的转换次数高于其它两组(P<0.05)。在4只群体组中,白天木质栖架上的探究行为显著高于其它两组(P<0.05)。8只群体组中,晚上塑质栖架上的修饰行为低于其它两组(P<0.05)。木质栖架的栖息时间稍高于其它两组。因此,木质栖架更受笼养蛋鸡喜好。

- Henslikeroostingonperchesduringnight.Provisionofperchesincagescanimprovethebehaviorandphysicalconditionsoflayinghens.390HylineBrownlayinghenswereusedandrandomlyallocatedtothreetreatments:individualgroup(G1),groupoffourhens(G4),andgroupofeighthens(G8),respectively.Therewere30replicatesineachgroup.ThehensinG1,G4andG8groupswereputinthetestcagesinwhichthreeperches(steel,woodorplasticperches)weresimultaneouslyprovided.Hensbehaviorswererecordedusingcamerasatthefollowingperiods:8∶00~10∶00;14∶00~16∶00;19∶00~21∶00;23∶30~0∶30ontheobservationalday.Thegeneralbehaviorsandperchingbehaviorsinlayinghensunderdifferentgroupsize(stockingdensity),theperchmaterialspreferenceofhenswereinvestigated.Thebehaviorsofhensineverytimeperiodwereanalyzed,andhens’positionsontestperchesduringmid-nightwererecorded.Theresultsshowedthatgroupsize(stockingdensity)hadsignificanteffectonmostgeneralbehaviorsoflayinghensexpectperchingbehavior(P<0.01).Thereweregreatdifferencesingeneralbehaviorsduringdifferenttimeperiods(P<0.001).Inthepreferencetestduringnight,woodperchesweremuchpreferredtosteelorplasticperchesbyhensinallgroups(P<0.05).InG1groups,frequencyoftransferringfromoneperchtoanotherbyhenswashigheronsteelperchesthanwoodorplasticperches(P<0.05)atdaytime.Besides,hensinG4groupsperformedmoreexploringbehavioronwoodperchesduringdaytime(P<0.05).IntheG8groups,frequencyofpreeningwasloweronplasticperchesatnight(P<0.05),whereastheperchingtimewaslongeronwoodperches.Consequently,thewoodperchesweremorepreferredtoplasticorsteelonesbylayinghensincages.
