摘要:
论述了《中文科技期刊数据库》、《中国学术期刊(光盘版)》Silver Plat ter 公司出版发行的CAB ABSTRACTS 3 种农业电子期刊的特点, 从信息服务部门提供服务的角度出发, 例举对3 种电子期刊的学科覆盖、出版时差等方面进行了比较分析, 并提出了进一步完善的建议。
Abstract:
The paper gives analysis and compariso n of ty pical Chinese and English electronical periodicals on CD -ROMs in conjunction w ith the tw o year experience in providing Chinces and English electronic periodicals reading service to the users in the Multifunctio nal Elect ronic Reading Room of Heilongjiang Academy of Agricultural Scences .Emphasis is put on the features of the Chinese Science & Technolog y Periodicals Databases and Chinese Academic Journals and CAB ABSTRACTS .From the point of view of providing service by the library to the users , an overall review is presented for three publications in the respects of their subject area covering info rmation quantity etc .Some suggestions are put forw ard , too .
